Titleist Golf

Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. With this in mind, Titleist, one of the leading Acushnet golfing brands, is committed to satisfying golfers with golf equipment of superior performance and quality.

Known for the outstanding successes of its Tour players, Titleist has respectively been known for "The #1 ball in golf" the Titleist Pro V1 Golf Ball, and its "Serious clubs for serious golfers".

Titleist manufactures a range of golf clubs, including woods, irons, Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron:

•    Drivers: 909DComp, 909D2, 909D3
•    Fairways and Utility Woods: 909F2, 909F3, 909H
•    Irons: AP1, AP2, Z Blend Forged, Z Muscle Forged
•    Vokey Design Wedges: 200 Series and Spin Milled Wedges
•    Scotty Cameron Putters: Studio Select, Circa 62, Red X, Newport.

Equally known for the supreme quality of their golf balls, leading Titleist balls include:

•    Pro V1 and Pro V1x
•    NXT Tour and NXT Extreme
•    DT Carry and DT Roll

The high-performance Titleist Pro V1 Golf Ball made its debut on the PGA Tour at Las Vegas on October 11, 2000, the first week it was available to the Pros. A longtime Titleist user, Billy Andrade, won that first tournament with the new ball. The Pro V1 was available to the public for purchase that December. It was a dramatic departure for Titleist, which had traditionally used a wound-ball construction (with a liquid-filled core center) for its top-of-the-line golf balls.

Titleist also makes the Pinnacle brand of distance balls, with the Platinum Feel and Platinum Distance; the Gold FX Soft and Gold FX Long, and the Ribbon.

As well as Titleist, the Massachusetts-based company boasts two other major golf equipment brands: FootJoy and Cobra.
